Staff Selection Commission organizes the All India Open Competitive Examination for employment to the Group-“C” posts of Data Entry Operator (DEO) and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) every year. This examination is held in two parts that is written objective type Examination and Data Entry Skill Test/Typing Test.

Skill Test For Data Entry Operator:

In this exam the speed of key depressions will be counted. This examination will be conducted for the duration for one hour. Candidates are required to press 8000 keys per hour to qualify this test.

Typing Test for Lower Division Clerk:

The typing test will be conducted in both Hindi and English Languages for one hour. Candidates are required to type 35 words per minute (For English Medium) and 30 words per minute (For Hindi Medium).
