  • National Defence Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by UPSC, twice in a year generally in the month of April and September.

NDA Eligibility Criteria 2015

  • Candidate who is applying for National Defence Academy must be a citizen of India.
  • Male aspirants who are unmarried eligible for this post.
  • Female Candidates are not allowed to appear for NDA exam.

Educational Qualification:

For Army wing of National Defence Academy For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy
  • Contestants should have passed 12th Class of the 10+2 pattern of School Education/ or
  • Equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 educational level with physics and mathematics subjects.
  • Applicants who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent can also apply.

How to Join NDA after 10th/12th/Graduation

Physical Standards:

Job hunters must be physically and medically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination.

Age limit:

  • Applicant’s age should reside in between 16 years to 19 years.
  • No reservation in age is allowed for SC/ST/OBC etc candidates.

Selection process:

  • Aspirants will be selected based on the performance in written examination which is conducted by Union Public service Commission (UPSC).
  • Qualified candidates in written exam will appear for next stages.
  • After qualifying written test contender will appear for Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence/ Personality test which is conducted by the Service Selection Board (SSB). You must know How to prepare for NDA
  • Selected job seekers are requested to bring their original documents with them.
